Elly created a series of artworks about her mother, who is suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis and getting better. For the tree painting and smaller pieces, Elly made her mother's handprints with ink pads and captured her hand deformities from the early stage to the present. And, her text piece was based on how her mother was affected by the disease. Basically, she wrote the daily activities that her mother almost couldn't not do when it was very severe around 'un' and things she can do without any much struggles as she gets better around 'able'. So, working with her mother as the collaborator, Elly expressed what her mother has been through over time with color transitions.
